An extruded aluminum bar linear register for ceiling and wall installation, with an integral opposed-blade damper. Every unit is made to order: choose the opening size, one of six blade profiles, a mounting method, and a finish. Openings run from 8" to 84" long in a single piece.
Integral Damper
An opposed-blade damper is built in and operated with a flat head screwdriver through the face — so a ceiling run can be balanced or shut off from a ladder, without pulling the register or reaching into the duct.
Six Blade Profiles
The 15° and 30° profiles angle the bars away from the face; the rest run straight at 0°. Five of the six add nothing to the price — only the heel-proof core is an upgrade.
Made to Your Opening
Two hundred and seventy-two size combinations — fifteen opening heights from 2" to 20", and lengths from 8" to 84". Built to order rather than cut down from a standard part.
Extruded Aluminum
Extruded rather than stamped, so the bars hold a true line across a long ceiling run where any sag or twist would be obvious against the plane of the ceiling.
Two Mounting Methods
Mounting screws or concealed fastening, chosen in Custom Options. Concealed fastening leaves no visible hardware in the ceiling or wall plane.
Paint It or Leave It
Silver powder coat is the one to order if the register will be field painted to match the ceiling; Mill is bare aluminum for a shop that will powder coat it; White is a finished true-white semi-gloss.
Choose your blade style
Blade style is set in Custom Options above, not by the size selector. It changes both how the register looks and how it throws air. –00– is the most commonly ordered.

Spring clips are not offered on this model, and should not be used on one. The manufacturer rates spring clips for sill and floor applications only — not for ceiling or wall. Mounting screws and concealed fastening are both rated for ceiling, wall, sill and floor, which is why those are the two choices here. If you need spring clips, you are looking for the floor installation model.
Sizing
Order by the opening size. The register face adds 1-11/16" to both the height and the length, so it overlaps the opening and sits flush against the ceiling or wall.
- Opening heights: 2", 2-1/2", 3", 3-1/2", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20"
- Opening lengths: 8" to 24" in 2" increments, then every 6" up to 84"
- Depth required: 2-11/16"
- Maximum single piece: 84". For a longer continuous run, contact the sales team.
| Opening height | Overall height | Lengths available |
|---|---|---|
| 2" | 3-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 2-1/2" | 4-3/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 3" | 4-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 3-1/2" | 5-3/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 4" | 5-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 5" | 6-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 6" | 7-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 7" | 8-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 8" | 9-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 10" | 11-11/16" | 8" to 84" |
| 12" | 13-11/16" | 8" to 78" |
| 14" | 15-11/16" | 8" to 72" |
| 16" | 17-11/16" | 8" to 66" |
| 18" | 19-11/16" | 8" to 66" |
| 20" | 21-11/16" | 8" to 60" |
Lengths run 8" to 24" in 2" increments, then every 6". The taller the register, the shorter the longest single piece — from 12" high upward the maximum length steps down, as shown above.
Damper operation
The damper is adjusted with a flat head screwdriver through the face. Where the operator sits depends on which blade profile you choose — four use Detail A, and the –01– and –84– cores use Detail B.
Detail A — the –00–, –15–, –30– and –82– cores
Four of the six blade profiles use the Detail A arrangement. If you are ordering a standard 0° face, a 15° or 30° deflection, or the fine –82– air flow core, this is the one that applies to you.
Detail B — the –01– and –84– cores
The pencil-proof –01– core and the –84– core use the Detail B arrangement instead. The damper still adjusts from the face with a flat head screwdriver — only the operator position differs.
