Coverage on the products we carry
At Vent Covers Unlimited, we stand behind the products we sell. Two of the brands we carry, Linus ProAir and Baseboarders, come with their own written manufacturer warranties against defects, backed by responsive support and a straightforward claims process. Find your product's coverage below.
Linus ProAir, Limited One-Year Warranty
Linus ProAir warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (invoice date). If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, Linus ProAir will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the defective product. This is the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
What is covered
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on products used and maintained under normal conditions.
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Improper, incorrect, or non-compliant installation, or failure to follow published installation instructions
- Damage occurring during shipping or transit (see "Shipping Damage" below)
- Normal wear, discoloration, scratches, or finish damage from cleaning, handling, or environmental exposure
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, field modification, or field cutting beyond published limits
- Products not installed, used, or maintained in accordance with Linus ProAir's specifications
- Any labor, removal, reinstallation, or consequential or incidental damages
Shipping damage
Transit damage is not covered by this warranty and is the responsibility of the freight carrier. Inspect all products upon delivery. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery, and report concealed damage to Vent Covers Unlimited within 72 hours of receipt so a freight claim can be filed.
How to make a claim
All warranty claims are handled through Vent Covers Unlimited. To request warranty service, contact us at sales@ventcoversunlimited.com or 1-888-622-4225 with your order number, proof of purchase, and a description and photos of the defect. Products may need to be returned for inspection, so please do not return items without authorization.
Baseboarders®, Lifetime Limited Warranty
Baseboarders products are built to last and carry one of the strongest warranties in the category.
Hydronic covers
Baseboarders hydronic baseboard heater covers are made of galvanized steel. Galvanizing uses an electric charge to bond a thin coating of zinc to the steel, and an epoxy-based powder-coated layer is then applied on top of that zinc coating. With two layers of protective coating between the raw steel and the elements, these standard products are built to last a very long time before the natural oxidation process can begin. The warranty covers the finish against the onset of rust and also covers any damage to the product in transit.
All styles carry a lifetime warranty against rust.
Shipping damage
Goods received with damage must be reported to Vent Covers Unlimited within 72 hours of delivery.
Caring for your covers
Clean hydronic covers with mild soap on a damp cloth only. Dry panels and accessories thoroughly to reduce moisture exposure and help prevent the onset of rust. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as this can damage the finish and may void the warranty.
