Wood Wall and Ceiling Vent Covers Pattern I

SKU: PC-6X4-I-Maple

Manufacturing time is 2 to 4 weeks.

Embrace the elegant simplicity of a contemporary linear slot design with the Pattern I Wood Vent Cover - a precision laser-cut 1/4" Baltic Birch hardwood grille featuring evenly spaced vertical bars, creating a clean, unadorned linear profile that suits modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, and industrial interiors.

Interior designers select Pattern I as the most restrained option in the collection - pure vertical lines with consistent spacing that prioritizes airflow and simplicity over ornament. It reads as a refined material detail rather than a decorative element, making it the appropriate choice for interiors where the vent should be present but nearly invisible. Available in Maple (ideal for painted finishes), Oak, and Cherry veneers. The pure vertical bar format provides maximum airflow and the most minimal visual footprint in the laser-cut pattern collection.

Delivered unfinished and factory-sanded, Pattern I accepts paint or stain to match surrounding walls, ceilings, or millwork. Over 50 sizes available; overall dimensions are 1-3/4" larger than the duct opening each way.

Wood wall and ceiling vent covers pattern. . .

"A few vert small pieces of the veneer chipped off the vent while staining with a piece of cloth. The chipped off area would not take up the stain"

Vents turned out great! But make sure you measure. . .

"They look great, but I ended up having to repurchase about 25% of the vent covers because they were mis-measured. Make sure you measure to the size of the metal vent not the drywall cut out. It can be a little shy of the dry wall, because the extra buffer will cover. I ended up with several that were like 2-4 inches too big on each size because I was over compensating for some poorly cut drywall holes, turns out I should have just stuck with the measure of the actual vent."

Oak wall return. . .

"Looks good against dark cedar wall. Thought is would be little more substantial is it’s construction."

Wall air return cover…. oak

"Install was easy. Looks good."

Boat. . .

"In upgrading items on a fairly new sailboat, I was searching for a replacement small, wood (orig was plastic) vent & came across this site. Custom sizing would have been the best way to go, but a petite standard size trimmed could suffice with less cost and hassle. Received in time quoted & was well packed. Wasn't crazy that it is fabricated from plywood v solid exposing layers on the edges, but stained dark mahogany, they are not predominant. Overall, it was well executed & will benefit the refit of the boat. Would purchase from Ventcoversunlimited. com again."

FAQs

Decorative resin covers are designed for wall and ceiling applications only — they are not rated for floor use. They're lightweight enough to mount safely overhead and decorative enough for walls where you want more visual detail than a stamped metal grille. If you need a floor register, our wood, metal, and cast iron options are built to be walked on.

Resin covers don't rust like metal, don't splinter like wood, and are significantly lighter than either — which makes them ideal for ceilings. They're formulated to handle the thermal cycling of central air and heat, so they won't warp or crack from temperature changes. Urethane resin is also stable in moisture-rich environments like bathrooms, where metal can corrode and wood can swell.

Yes — unfinished resin covers can be painted to match your walls or trim. However, covers that have already been painted at the factory are non-returnable. If you plan to paint, order an unpainted cover, apply your chosen color after testing on a sample, and install once dry. Standard spray paint adheres well to resin; no special primer is required for most colors.

Yes. Our decorative resin covers are available in standard sizes and hard-to-find dimensions — the same custom sizing program that covers wood and metal also applies to resin. If your duct opening doesn't match a listed size, contact us with your measurements and we'll confirm what's available. Allow approximately 6 weeks for custom resin orders.
