Chevron Design Vent Cover - Made to Order Collection
The decorative Chevron vent cover was inspired by trends in the tile industry and allows for continuity throughout a space. The contemporary look fits well with transitional and modern designs. Available in 30+ sizes, 2 materials, 3 thicknesses, 8 colors, and optional mounting holes and underside lip.
The Chevron Design is available in eight colors: Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Black, Sun Gold, White, Silver, Satin Nickel, Champagne Bronze, and Gray. The Gray steel grille can be easily painted any color to match your decor (we recommend paint made for metal and not a latex paint).
Laser Cut Aluminum & Steel Details:
- Available in 1/8" and 3/16" thicknesses. 1/4" thickness is available by special order.
- Aluminum 1/8” is not recommended for floor installation.

Optional Underside Lip
When do you need an underside lip?
If the grille is being used for a floor installation, then you may choose an Underside Lip to hold the grille in place. If you choose it without an Underside Lip for floor installation, then you need to either (1) recess the grille into the floor so it’s flush with the floor or (2) get the grille with mounting holes to hold it in place.
If you choose an Underside Lip for a floor installation, do you still need mounting holes?
If you choose a grille with an Underside Lip, you may still want mounting holes. In high traffic areas, mounting holes keep the grille securely in place. Mounting holes also deter children from lifting or removing the grille from its opening. Mounting holes are not required for grilles with an Underside Lip (for floor installation), but may be preferred.
When is an Underside Lip for floor installation not recommended?
An Underside Lip is not recommended when your opening is not evenly cut, as an Underside Lip may not fit.
