A solid hardwood floor register that sits flush with the finished floor instead of standing proud of it. The frame is set into the flooring during installation and the vent lifts out for duct cleaning. Made to order in the USA in 32 wood species, and shipped unfinished and factory sanded so it can be stained and sealed at the same time as the floor around it.

Sits Flush, Not Proud

The frame is let into the floor rather than laid on top of it, so there is no raised lip at the edge of the vent to catch a toe, a chair leg or a vacuum head.

Finish It With The Floor

It ships unfinished and factory sanded. Stain and seal it in place with the surrounding boards and the grain and color carry straight across the opening.

32 Wood Species

Red Oak, White Oak and Maple are standard stock. Twenty-nine more are made to order, from Hickory and Walnut to Sapele, Santos Mahogany and four bamboos.

Removable Vent

The vent lifts out of the frame, so ducts can be cleaned without prying up a fixed grille or disturbing the flooring around it.

Optional Damper

Add a damper for $10 in Custom Options if you want to shut the run down or throttle it back room by room.

Made In The USA

Built to order rather than pulled from stock, in 10 to 15 business days. Solid hardwood throughout — not veneer over a core.

How it sits in the floor

This is what separates a flush-with-frame register from a drop-in one. The frame is installed as part of the floor, with the flooring butting up to it on all four sides. The vent then drops into the frame and finishes level with the boards.

Because the frame is part of the floor, it goes in during flooring installation — not afterwards. Plan the opening with your flooring contractor before the boards go down.

Special order species are non-returnable, and choosing one adds to the manufacturing time. A finished register is also non-returnable. If you are matching an existing floor, order a sample or send a photo to the sales team before you commit.

Wood finish

The register ships unfinished and factory sanded by default, which is what most buyers want so it can be finished with the floor. A natural clear coat can be applied instead — select Yes under Wood Finish. A finished register is non-returnable.

Thickness

Built at 3/4", which matches standard solid hardwood flooring. If your floor is a different thickness, contact the sales team before ordering.

Yes — unfinished resin covers can be painted to match your walls or trim. However, covers that have already been painted at the factory are non-returnable. If you plan to paint, order an unpainted cover, apply your chosen color after testing on a sample, and install once dry. Standard spray paint adheres well to resin; no special primer is required for most colors.

Yes. Our decorative resin covers are available in standard sizes and hard-to-find dimensions — the same custom sizing program that covers wood and metal also applies to resin.
