The Madelyn Carter® Artisan is a solid steel decorative vent cover that installs in a floor, wall, or ceiling opening, with adjustable metal dampers to turn the air flow on or off. It comes in twelve duct opening sizes and seven long-lasting, rust-resistant finishes.
Seven Designer Finishes
Antique Brass, Black, Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Venetian Bronze, and White — each one long-lasting and rust-resistant. Match your cabinet hardware, faucets, and door hardware instead of settling for a plain white grille.
Solid Steel Core
A sturdy steel interior and heavy duty metal dampers give this floor register real strength and longevity. Use it in high-traffic areas of your home or office without worrying about dents or scratches from shoes or furniture.
Adjustable Metal Dampers
The strong metal dampers are simple to use and not directional — they turn the air flow fully on or off. Close off a spare room you aren’t heating, or shut a vent in a room that always runs too warm.
Floor, Wall, or Ceiling
Mounting spring clips are included, so the same cover installs as a floor vent cover, a wall vent cover, or a ceiling vent with an ultra snug fit. Choose your installation type above.

Vent covers are sized to the dimension of the duct, not your existing vent cover.
- Remove your existing floor, wall, or ceiling vent cover.
- Measure the size of the duct, not the size of your vent cover.
- Order the vent cover that matches the size of your duct.

Overall size is the outside of the cover — the duct opening plus the frame. Order by the duct opening, not by this figure. The three square sizes — 8 × 8, 10 × 10 and 12 × 12 — are made in Black only; every other size comes in six or seven finishes, as marked.
Mounting clips included
Spring clips come with every order. They hold the cover snug in a wall or ceiling opening, and are optional for floors.
