A laser-cut linear slot grille that reads as a quiet line in the floor rather than a vent. Made to order in the USA in 41 sizes, three material and thickness combinations, and eight powder-coated finishes — with optional mounting holes, an underside lip, a beveled edge, and two different airflow louvers.
Laser Cut To Order
Nothing is cut down from a stock blank. The slot pattern is cut for your exact duct size, so the design stays centered and even at every size.
41 Sizes
From 2-1/4" × 10" up to 24" × 24", including long runs like 6" × 30" and 18" × 30". Custom sizes can be quoted.
Eight Finishes
Powder coated in Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Champagne Bronze, Sun Gold, Satin Nickel, Silver, Gray and White.
Steel Or Aluminum
Steel in 3/16" carries foot traffic. Aluminum is lighter and rust-proof even in wet rooms. The table below says which goes where.
Airflow Control
Two louver options: an adjustable one that opens and closes, and a directional one that aims the air. They are not the same part — see below.

Built by the Reggio Register Company. Because each grille is made to order, you have 24 hours to cancel before production starts.
Which material and thickness?
This is the one decision worth getting right, because it determines whether the grille can take being walked on. Three combinations are offered.

If the grille is going in a floor, order 3/16" Steel. The other two are for walls and ceilings.
Steel
- Heavier than aluminum, which is what lets the 3/16" version take foot traffic
- Powder coated on both sides to seal out rust
- Offered in 1/8" and 3/16"
Aluminum
- Lighter than steel — easier on a ceiling install
- Rust-proof even in wet environments, so it suits bathrooms and laundry rooms
- Offered in 3/16" only

Sizing
Order by your duct opening. The overall size is the outside of the frame, which is what sits on the finished surface.
- Most sizes add 2" to the duct opening in both directions
- From 12" up, the frame margin changes — read your row in the table

How it holds in place
A flat grille has nothing stopping it sliding around in the opening. You solve that with an underside lip, with mounting holes, or by recessing the grille into the floor.
Drops into the opening and locates the grille
For recessed installs, or fix it with mounting holes
Mounting holes — no charge
Countersunk holes at each end, as shown in the drawing above. In a high-traffic area they keep the grille from shifting or being lifted out. You can have them with or without the lip.
When a lip will not work
If the opening is not cut evenly, skip the lip — it needs a clean, square hole to seat into. Use mounting holes instead.
Beveled edge — add $10
A 45 degree angle on all four sides of the top frame, so the edge steps down to the floor instead of stopping square.
A beveled edge increases the lead time to 5 to 6 weeks. Order it only if your schedule allows.
Two louvers — they do different jobs
Both are ordered in Custom Options, and they are easy to mix up. One opens and closes the airflow; the other aims it and cannot be closed.
Adjustable Air Flow Louver — add $27.95
- Regulates how much air comes through, to help balance heating and cooling
- Installs in the duct, behind the grille — it does not attach to the grille
- Opens and closes with a flathead screwdriver, which you supply
- You may have to lift the grille out to reach it
- Foam strips are included for a snug fit
- Needs 2-5/16" of clearance behind the grille
Directional Air Flow Louver — add $18.95
- Comes attached to the grille and points the air in a set direction
- Does not open or close — it aims air, it does not shut it off
- Requires the underside lip, so add that option too
