"Made the mistake of not realizing that the vent can not be adjusted without a screwdriver-like tool, that's on us. When I asked about it hoping that there would be an optional lever or maybe another model which would work for us I got back the statement that it adjusts with a screwdriver. I can't imagine a less useful response than telling me what I told them would not be practical (for sometimes hourly adjustments)."

"The fins inside are crooked and flimsy looking, so full shut off isn't possible. Having to use a screw driver to adjust them isn't normal, but for what I am doing, it should work just fine."

Replacing old circa 1961 metal. . .

"My house was built in 1961 and all of my vents are heavy metal and are painted over (can't adjust them). I ordered two ""test vents"" to see if the quality was good and to make sure they would fit in the vent housings. I was very pleased with the construction and the fact that I could customize the width and height of the vents. They both worked and fit beautifully. I was able to adjust the horizontal and vertical fins individually. The aluminum required two coats of paint to match the walls. My old vents had a ""key"" to adjust the back louvers (volume of air) while these replacements do not but, once manually adjusted, I am not likely going to change the settings. Well done. I will be replacing the remainder after the new year"

"I purchased a 14X14 double deflection grill in mill. I needed to allow fresh air intake in my engine dyno cell as my exhaust fan was struggling to evacuate the room and was creating a vacuum as my building seals exceptionally tight. The first one arrived in a few days as they stated, but had some shipping damage. I asked the sales department how can I fix this? They shipped me another asap @No charge! That's fantastic customer service! Vent not only looks great, it performs wonderfully. I will buy again."
